Terms of Service

1. What this is

Personal Clone is an AI assistant that reads and sends messages on your behalf across SMS, WhatsApp, email, Slack, Reddit, Microsoft Teams, Instagram, Twitter/X, TikTok, and phone calls. You retain full ownership of the accounts and content connected to the service.

2. Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for any message the service sends, whether auto-sent or approved by you. The service acts under your authority via OAuth — treat it like any staff member you'd delegate to.
• Auto-send is opt-in per channel and starts off. You can disable it any time with the panic switch in Profile → Autonomy.
• You must have the right to send the content you connect (writing samples, voice samples). Do not upload third-party copyrighted material without permission.
• You must comply with each connected platform's rules. We don't override TikTok, Meta, Reddit, Microsoft, etc.'s acceptable-use policies.

3. What we do

• Process the text/audio you give us to model your writing and speaking style.
• Forward inbound messages to OpenAI (reply drafting) and ElevenLabs (voice cloning + TTS). See Privacy Policy for the list of subprocessors.
• Store your data encrypted at rest (KMS) with per-tenant partition isolation.

4. What we don't do

• We don't sell your data. We don't use it to train general models.
• We don't retain outbound-message content beyond the audit log needed to show you what your clone did. Delete your account to wipe everything.
• We don't guarantee the clone will never make a mistake. Auto-send defaults are conservative; expect occasional misjudgments. The approval flow exists for a reason.

5. Liability

Provided as-is without warranty. Our liability is capped at what you paid in the prior 12 months. We are not liable for lost business from AI-generated content, platform suspensions, or downstream harm from message content you or your clone sends.

6. Termination + data

Cancel any time. Use Profile → Danger zone to export or delete all of your data. Deletion removes the DynamoDB partition, S3 prefix, per-user secrets, and your ElevenLabs voice clone.
